New College Oxford Partnership

We're proud of our partnership with New College, which links our school here in Headington with one of the oldest parts of the University of Oxford.

Our link with New College means that students at the University have the opportunity to get involved with school life, through supporting children as reading volunteers during term-time, or getting involved in other projects like after-school clubs or helping to rejuvenate our pond!

Our children benefit from wonderful opportunities to learn about the university, and university life - and to enrich their school work by tapping into some of the world-class resources at the college. Staff from New College have visited classes and year groups at Wood Farm to share their specialisms, we've performed in the college chapel, and visited the buildings and grounds for inspiration in our writing and History work.

Children in our 'New College Council' are helping to lead the partnership - and to develop new ideas for the future.
